Great place for a nice stroll and hiking. You can rent kayaks nearby and kayak. Great free splash pad across the street for the kiddos.

A unique Great Lakes marsh is the centerpiece of this 86 acre park along the Galien River. Elevated walkways provide an up close look at the rich flora and fauna, and a 60’ tower offers majestic views and a thrilling sway. Fishing is allowed, and all walkways are ADA accessible. Local Tip: The elevated walkways are not super long, so this is a perfect spot for ambivalent hikers. Lots of natural beauty with minimal effort.

This is a sleeper. Great park, short drive to get there, short walk and you are looking over the river from an amazing vantage point. Free, plenty of parking there. Only thing - no dogs allowed.

Fun, free park for all ages to venture through to get a better sense of the local environment with a cool, elevated catwalk through the forest and a walkway that extends across the marsh.
