Cerrillos, NM, is a small mining town, just 10 minutes south, on HWY 14. The state park has trails and interpretive history signs along the way, and is great for bike riding, hiking or horseback riding.

Hike (or bike) over 1,100 years of mining history along five miles of trails with spectacular views of the Sandia, Ortiz, Jemez, and Sangre de Cristo mountain ranges. Horseback rides available thru Broken Saddle Riding Company.
