Drink wines made with minimal intervention. Marked by its sculptural limestone building, Port Phillip has sweeping views across its vineyards and the ocean and houses a cellar door, fine-dining room, a more casual eatery
Visit Port Phillip Estate if you are really wanting to step things up a notch. The Building is architecturally stunning and the view of Western Port Bay is breathtaking.
High quality winery with excellent food and really good service. One of my favourite restaurants on the Peninsula.
You should go here because everything about this place is stunning. The building, the view, the food, the wine, the service, the wine tasting experience. And it's 5 minutes up the road from us.

“I love Foxey’s because it’s a real Mornington Peninsula institution, offering lunch for small groups only (max 6 people) so it’s a really cosy, intimate experience. On the weekend they open the winery for tastings but the real star is staying for their chef’s menu tapas lunch. Treat yourself & settle in for a really lovely experience!”

“Sadly the Ten Minutes by Tractor cellar door and restaurant suffered a catastrophic fire in 2018 and is in the process of being rebuilt. Just a 1.3km up the road though is Petite Tracteur, the sister restaurant and current cellar door for Ten Minutes by Tractor. I definitely recommend booking ahead for the restaurant, which is a delightful French bistro with wine list to match. The cellar door is open daily from 11am – 5pm and has one of the largest wine lists on the peninsula. If you’re getting a little too happy during your tasting, just move to the single vineyard wines.”

“I love the vibe at Merricks General Wine Store, it's super chilled in the cafe & they have a gorgeous outdoor deck that can be closed in the winter or open in the summer. In winter the fire is usually lit so you can cosy up with a coffee or a bowl of soup. It gets really busy during peak periods so it's best to go early! They also have a restaurant area which can be booked for functions, and there's a little providor where you can pick up yummy treats such as chocolates, deli items, fancy crackers & of course wine from the cellar door.”

“One of my favourite wineries with great tapas and plenty of outside sitting areas amongst the vineyard.”

“"While the view from the restaurant's cinemascope-size window suggests you are hovering above what must be some of the best-tended vines on the Peninsula, rest assured it is the food as well as the view that provide the most lasting impression of a meal here. These and the wines of winemaker and founder, Lindsay McCall.” -Jeni Port, Gourmet Travel Wine Best Cellar Door 2017”
