There's an outdoor ice skating rink in the winter, and numerous festivals, markets, and concerts throughout the year.

The town square of the New Silver Spring is always peopled any time of the year. There is ice skating or dancing, a four piece or an open jam, out doors, watching the kids just loving it, fun.
