Looking for a beautiful sunset? Just a short walk away, sunset views from Potrero Bay are always pretty, what with all the little islets in the distance and the headland of Flamingo off to the southwest. But if you have a vehicle you can get those views with some coastline grandeur. There's a pull off on the Las Catalinas road just between Playas Azucar and Prieta where you'll have incredible vistas as the sun sinks below the waves. Lots of people stop here at the end of the day so get there early to get a good spot and be “tranquillo” if you’re ready to leave but your car is blocked in.

This beach can be a bit tricky to find. Watch for a chain link fence and cars parked along side of the road as you near the destination. Cars may typically block the entrance you are looking for. When at the beach please watch out for rocks! At higher tide you cannot see some large rocks in the water.
