This is Seattle's historic neighborhood. Highlights include Greg Kucera Gallery, Magic Mouse Toys, the Underground Tour, Il Corvo Restaurant, Elm Coffee Roasters, The London Plane, Good Bar, Smith Tower Observatory, Waterfall Park, Occidental Park...it's gritty but great!

This area is home to many great local Art Galleries. The First Thursday of each month all galleries are open later for the public art walk. Fun free event!

I work there and love this neighborhood. It's the original downtown Seattle and features some of our oldest and most ornate architecture.

Historic part of seattle near the ferries. Quickly become trendy again. It used to just be sports bars but now it’s a great mix of galleries, shops/boutiques, trendy bars and restaurants, and sports bars/brew pubs. If you go in a first Thursday of the month galleries open up for ARTWALK!
