Welshpool has the biggest sheep market in Europe with the main sales on a Monday. If you've never been to a livestock market it's a fantastic opportunity to show the kids and yourselves how it all works. Keep your hands low though you don't want to go home with a flock of sheep!

If you fancy something a bit different and you’re here on a Monday, the Welshpool Livestock Market is an interesting place to go. (north end of the by-pass)
