Poreč is a town on the western coast of the Istra peninsula, and it is most famous for its 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The town is almost 2,000 years old, and is set around a harbour protected from the sea by the small island of Saint Nicholas.
Porec is a city of culture and entertainment , clean beaches, coves and numerous islands located on the west coast of Istria, with excellent traffic connections to European cities. The entire old town is a monument, while the Euphrasian Basilica is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
