Ballard is a formerly sleepy Scandinavian neighborhood now known for a multitude of craft breweries, restaurants, shops and the Sunday Market. Great place to spend the evening at a restaurant (Walrus and Carpenter, for example) and get dessert at Hot Cakes.

Ballard is an old norwegian neighborhood in Seattle. It is currently known for all of its wonderful breweries and laid back night life. Check out the Ballard Locks if you have a little time in your morning or afternoon
