The headwaters of the San Antonio River. Depending on how much it's been raining in the years or months before you arrive, the water might be trickling out of the ground, or flooding up. Either way, it's fascinating to see a river start by coming up out of the ground. There is a nice park and walkways nearby and it's located on the campus of The University of Incarnate Word, so it's free to visit.

sometimes part of the headwaters of the San Antonio river. if it has been rainy then there will be a spring coming from this spot. it is located near Hildebrand and Highway 281 (IH37) on the University of the Incarnate Word campus...
