Wonderful hike out a fire road that links up to the Appalachian Trail and the hike up to three ridges. Also makes a wonderful morning run for the very adventurous from the property to the Appalachian trail is about 4 miles round trip.

The Appalachian trial network is literally yards from the driveway. You can walk to the entrance and take a hike for hours. Additionally, there is a waterfall hike for the family across the street from the cabin. (about a 15 mike walk) It is a nice place for a picnic in the spring and summer. You can hear the falls from the back deck.
