2021 Michelin guide restaurant serving up serious Scottish food with seasonal produce. Because the chef only works with what’s in season and at its best, Fhior's menus are fluid, evolving and ever-changing.

Thoughtful and imaginative Scottish cooking at lunchtime or dinner, with a bar menu that offers things like 'raw halibut, sorrel and celeriac' for £5.00 and 'fried partridge legs, fermented blackcurrant, miso' for £7.50

Fhior, an adaptation of the word for ‘true’ in Gaelic, was opened in June 2018 by Scott and Laura Smith, with the vision to create a dining experience wholly reflective of the word: true to Scottish produce and producers, true to an ingredient's flavour and seasonality, and true to our own artistic expression.

Very creative modern Scottish restaurant - a choice of two tasting menus, with or without wine pairing. Not cheap, but good value.

Newly opened on Broughton Street by the head chef of the acclaimed Norn restaurant in Leith. Try it now before it gets a Michelin star and doubles the price!
