Everyone goes to Lani's to see the turtles and it's a total tourist trap. Walk along the beach toward Haleiwa to see tons of turtles on a beautiful beach with no people around!

The popular spot to see and snorkel with turtles is a beach called Lani’s (or Turtle Beach). It can get very crowded and the parking across the street is not easy to maneuver. You can see and snorkel with turtles via the beach access on Papailoa Road, a secluded nice neighborhood right after you pass Lani’s. There’s parking for about 10-15 cars. Once you get to the beach, turn left and walk down a couple of minutes to the reef shelf/cove.

This beach is a close kept secret among locals. Definetly alot less crowded and is always full with TURTLES! Skip Lani's down the road (full with tour buses, no parking, and crowds) come down the private road and park at the dirt lot at the end. Take the beach access and go to the left a bit for a shallow area where turtles congregate. See that thin green seaweed that grows on the rocks by the water? Scrape and pick some off to feed the turtles a snack!
