Bar Island: This is a great little walk to include in your down time around Bar Harbor. You can safely cross about 3 hours before to 3 hours after low tide. There is a short path that takes you to the top of Bar Island and gives you a view looking back at Bar Harbor. A perfect selfie spot. Local tip: make sure you have about 1 hr of tide clearance to walk across and up to the top and back.
