This is a different kind of store. Open since 1988, it features the work of artist-owners Carole Gewant and Bill Spiegelhalter, including hand-painted clothing and linens, as well as tableware and jewelry handmade from recycled glass. Crafts, jewelry, and clothing from a select group of other artisans and designers are also represented, with a strong emphasis on local and California artists. The look is clean and contemporary, the mood is warm and fun, and the goal is unique, functional and accessibly priced items. NOMA is a small gem set on the beautiful Mendocino coast in the town of Gualala.
