Indian Mountain State Park is a remarkably successful example of reclaimed land after coal was mined from the mountain. The pond is lovely, hosting ducks, geese, herons, and dozens of other bird species. The campsites, playgrounds, picnic areas, volleyball and basketball courts, paddle-boats and outdoor pavilions make this the perfect venue for family and community gatherings.

This park is only 15 minutes up the road and a sweet little place. Paddle boating, volleyball, 3 playgrounds for kids, picnic areas...all available.
