You'll see a platypus, crocodiles, wallabies, kangaroos, glider possums, dingoes, wombats, the rare Lumholtz's tree kangaroo, and a big range of Australian birds, including emus, cassowaries, wedge-tailed eagles, black swans, and lorikeets. Boardwalks traverse picturesque mangrove, rainforest, and eucalyptus habitats, where most of the animals roam free. The nocturnal house, open from 11am to 5pm daily, is where you'll see many of the most elusive animals, including a platypus and Australia's answer to the Easter bunny, the bilby. This wildlife park located in West Burleigh makes for an educational and entertaining day out with the kids. Simply stroll through lush rainforest and spend time spotting native birds such as owls and brolgas, saltwater crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos and lizards. You are free to walk around on your own or take a guided ranger tour to hear stories and facts about the wildlife in the park and their habitats. There is a family friendly café and a gift shop so you can settle your hunger for lunch and take home a neat toy to remember the experience.

You can walk here about 2.5km from our resort through wonderful bushland tracks, it is very special and you can see the wildlife from the track.....
