Roy’s isn’t all Japanese—it’s Hawaiian fusion—but Roy Yamaguchi is a Japanese chef, and he develops flavors that are very intense and very delicious. I’ve always loved the food here. For Japanese-inspired items, there’s beautifully sweet misoyaki butterfish, which is marinated for two days, and the lobster potstickers, similar to gyoza, are killer. I order the chocolate soufflé, which is on the menu, and I always ask them to add a nice scoop of peanut butter—also not on the menu—so then it’s like a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup.

Good mexican food, easy going, family owned business.

Closest authentic mexican food. This is a full restaurant, not a taqueria. Dine-in and free chips and salsa. I recommend sitting upstairs in the dining area overlooking the restaurant if open.
