Pre-historic images of how rocks and lava made the rock formations, today known as Meteora. If you are visiting Meteora from 28th of August to 1st of October 2021, a pottery exhibition will take place at the Museum, in cooperation with 'Theodorou Art Studio'. The Museum timetable is from Monday to Friday 8:00-15:00, saturday and sunday 17:00-21:00.

Upon entering the museum, the visitor is "transported" 30 million years ago and observes the geographical area of Meteora as a sea area. Then, with a brief presentation of the concepts of tectonic uplift and erosion, the current formation of Meteora is presented.
