Niagara has limited public transportation. If you come in via train or bus, you will still need to rent a car or a bicycle to get around. The St. Catharines stop is the closest to us, and it's a 15 minute drive away.

St. Catharines Train Station, providing regular service both through VIA Rail to the USA and around Ontario, and now GO Train to Niagara Falls and at all stops up to Toronto. Literally, no exaggeration, a 5-minute walk from us, right down the street.
