Enjoy one of the most beautiful state parks in Florida! Highlands Hammock is our favorite place hike or ride a bike. Lush Palmetto, Oak and Cyprus trees make up this unique scenery. Soak up nature and atmosphere of true Florida beauty!
This beautiful state park is a 15-minute drive from Manatee Manor. They have bike rentals, a large picnic area with several pavilions and 8 or 9 different walking/hiking paths. Pack a lunch, and plenty of water bottles. Although the paths are very shaded because of the tall trees, they also prevent the breeze from coming through.
Great place to see Alligators Great way to see Florida's wildlife and plants History Museum available most of the time and concerts sometimes
