The WatPoramaiyikawat Museum displays a multitude of interesting items such as votive tablets, crystal ware and porcelains, including unique Mon artwork. One coffin, a “Hem”, was inspired possibly by the coffin of the Lord Buddha. The Hem coffin is used for monks and contains remains like a regular coffin, but has a window for viewing and paying respect to the remains. It is very convenient to go there and transportation cost by taxi/cab is only 100 Thai Baht.
