Posse East has cheap pitchers of beer. It brings back memories of my days as a graduate student at UT. It is always packed for its happy hour with the UT crowd.

Super chill neighborhood bar. They usually have a game or two on. Free chips and salsa upon request. If it's too full, hit up Crown & Anchor next door.

Classic dive bar near UT, with locals, students, UT alums, seminarians, awesome owner, good grub at great prices, cheap pitchers, lots of beer on tap, and plenty of TVs if you want to watch the game. Super casual, indoor and outdoor seating.
