Lovely quaint French bakery with authentic high quality pastries, bread and excellent coffee.
If you have a sweet tooth or just want to experience French pastries and coffee in the Rockies this is the place to go. You will actually feel like you are on Champs-Elysees.
If you are craving European sweets, this is on the money! French run and owned, hands down the best baked goods in town. Their carrot cake is to die for!
Also one of my faves. It's a bit pricey (aren't they all?) but there are people from France there making coffees, breads and desserts. It's a pretty nice treat.

“The best handmade chocolate this side of Belgium! Worth a trip to the south side of Canmore. You can combine it with lunch at the Iron Goat, or a visit to Summit Cafe!”

“Rent a bike and use the Legacy trail to bike from Canmore to Banff! We recommend starting in Canmore because then your way back is slightly more downhill and parking will be easier to find, as it is typically less busy than Banff. The pathway is entirely paved and it is not too hilly (it is a very slight consistent uphill, but you don't really notice until you are coming back downhill).”
