Sagres, the end of the world. Beautiful at sunset, choose a not too windy day :)
Spectacular scenery, lighthouse and big waves, formerly believed to be the end of the world! Around 1hr15 in the car but well worth the drive if you fancy a change of scenery.
The most South West point of Europe is less than an hours drive and has a lighthouse, wonderful castle, and stunning scenery.
Cape St Vincent is right down at the bottom corner of Portugal where the south coast and west coast meet. Many folks visit in the evening to watch the stunning sunsets. It is the last place on mainland Europe where you can see the sun set - the next people to see the sun rise is across the atlantic.
