Although LI is traditionally very Italian, it does have its diversity. This is where all the Korean exchange students at Stony Brook University come to get a taste of home. Its both intimate and festive. It has some of the more uncommon Korean food options on the menu (jajangmien, jumpong) & its surrounded by other Korean restaurants (all the owners are friends) so you can grab bubble tea after downing huge amounts of BBQ meat.

If you feel like Korean, this is probably the best you're going to find in Long Island (run by Koreans). Not quite as good as Koreatown in Manhattan, but decent.
