Take the ferry from Fionnophort and see the Abbey and explore the island. A truly beautiful and peaceful place.

Iona Abbey was originally founded by St. Columba in 563, bringing Christianity to Scotland. The Abbey is a busy working centre with a lot of history on show.

Will need to get a boat so I'd reccomend looking at the timetable before travelling. Also a lot of the road is single track so you may need to factor in timings with that especialy if you are not used to the roads.
