Interesting castle (find out about the Laird's lug!) You can climb up to the top of the tower and go outside and admire the view.

this was the Home seat of Forbes Sempill up until they handed it over to the National Trust, they owned Fintray Estate so has Close ties with this area

Craigievar is located 5.9 miles from Cushnie. It takes you on the famous Aberdeenshire Castle Trail. A National Trust for Scotland property which is also close to Castle Fraser near Kemnay and Cathes castle near Banchory.
