At Ounasvaara, you can hike the highest hill in Rovaniemi. You can find there one of the many Laavus located in Rovaniemi area where you can rest and put up the campfire. At winter times it is fantastic place to winter sports.

The area has got great views, illuminated ski tracks and trails for outdoor recreation just beside. In addition to this there is also a spa, a bowling alley, Snack Time, Lappset Funpark for little children, an indoor excercise park, a sports hall, a gym, a massage, a beauty parlour and a restaurant.
