Historical statues of hungarian kings. It is a meeting place of rollerscaters and boarders. Departure point for museums, concerthalls, the Zoo, Liget Parc, Andrássy avenue and other attractions.
Heroes' Square is the most spacious and most influential square in Budapest in the 14th century. district, in the narrower sense, denotes the Millennium Monument. Heroes' Square, together with the Andrássy Avenue in front of it, is a World Heritage Site.
Heroes’ Square is the largest and most impressive square of the city. The Millennium Monument standing in the middle of the square was erected in 1896 to commemorate the 1000-year-old history of Magyars. The Museum of Fine Arts is located at the north side of the square. The Kunsthalle (Hall of Art), an exhibition hall for the contemporary arts, is at the south side.
