The Loch has featured in several film & TV productions including ‘Doomsday’ by Neil Marshall (2008). You’ll not be disappointed with the views and Brenachoile Point on the banks of Loch Katrine also provided a romantic and magnificent backdrop for ‘Outlander’ (Series 2). Take a trip down this beautiful loch on the steamship SS Sir Walter Scott or a leisurely stroll around its banks.

Half an hour away from the hut - enjoy a cruise on the loch which supplies Glasgow with its water. You can also walk round and hire bikes. Wonderful wee Tea Room at Stronachlacher Pier.
