The Cedar Leaf Cottage is a curated space to reset, reflect, and unwind. A place to spend your days strolling the beach, fishing along the pier, sipping craft beer, or enjoying a meal at one of the many great local restaurants. Located just blocks off the water, our 1920s era cottage is nestled within the historic Lakeside neighborhood of Muskegon. Restaurants, bars, a distillery, shopping, and ice cream are a short walk from the cottage. Best of all, the beach is just a five minute drive away.

Step away from the daily grind into this quiet lakefront retreat in the woods, sitting on 3 acres. Hightower Lake sits just 25 minutes E of Silver Lake, and 45 minutes SE from Ludington. The Spring Lake Studio rental is a cozy welcoming space designed to provide comfort and convenience to your Lakeshore stay! A “studio” is an apartment consisting of a single large room serving as bedroom, living room, and kitchenette with a private bathroom and entrance. Great for couples, solo travelers, or small families. Trundle beds make it easy to sleep up to 4 guests. Easy access to the highway, bike trail, and all city ammenities. Grand Haven beach is less than 4 miles away.

All lakes in Twin Lake are residential but public access is available close by. See my guidebook for lakes access (this is not water front). For anglers, boaters, and beach lovers, hunters, color tourists, trail runners, seekers of and adventure, culture, arts and entertainment, this place is a gem.

Historic Cottage + Fire pit + Pet + Walk to beach!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Relax on the front porch, take a short walk to either muskegon lake or the big lake - Lake Michigan herself. The cottage boasts 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on first floor and 1/2 bath on the 2nd floor. The backyard is fully fenced in, with an outdoor shower, fire pit and chairs. Within .4 miles are the two lakes, the famed Pere Marquette Beach and The Deck restaurant and bar which overlooks Lake Michigan.

Serenity Now Treehouse

Serenity Now Treehouse is a TRUE treehouse built in four strong Oak trees on the property behind our home alongside Silver Creek. Here you’ll find the perfect place to unplug for a couple of days of peace and tranquility. We’ve also recently added a prayer chapel along the side of our home for our family, friends and treehouse guests to have a special place to pray and connect with God if you would like.

Lakeside Landing

Lakeside Landing is a cheery two bedroom, one bath home in the Lakeside area of Muskegon with beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. The house is set up with care to ensure that you have a lovely visit to West Michigan while I’m traveling and renting it out. Close to beaches, eateries, downtown Muskegon, Lake Michigan, Michigan's Adventure, Muskegon Winter Sports Complex, and Muskegon Lake!
