This is a residents only beach but if you have a sticker (or rent our car) this is a GREAT beach for adults and kids! It's an ocean beach but if you walk over to the right upon getting on the beach you can have access to both the ocean and (mecox) bay, and if you're lucky "the cut" will be open, which is basically a river that runs between to two and creates a fun place for kids to play in the current.

one of the favorite beaches for locals - parking is tough but that does not mean you cannot go to the beach - the beach itself is open for the public!
