An epic beach house in Hilo. Secluded spot right on the water. Short walk to a beautiful beach. Lots of space in the house with 3 rooms and an additional space with sofa bed. Comfortably fit 7 of us and a baby. No AC, so gets a little warm on a sunny day, but not uncomfortable, especially if you're on the patio in the sea breeze. Also, the building is an older structure and being on the water it has it's share of weathered walls and floors outside. But it IS a beach house, so kind of what you expect. Short drive to downtown Hilo, so very easy to run and get food and supplies. James was an easy host. No need for a lot of communication, though, because the place was as described with simple instructions. Highly recommend, especially for families that enjoy rustic beach house getaways.
