I booked this stay because I was excited for a cheap crash pad with a nice porch for yoga.

But... the place was unfortunately gross and I was met with many cockroaches over my stay.. which made relaxing on the porch or in my room difficult...

I felt like I struggled to breathe.
The stairs are definitely a squeeze. I had to duck into the attic
The tile in the house is broken and covered with mats.

Not the host's fault, but there was a power outage and plumbing issue.

I ended up cutting my stay short. I was getting sick and felt better sleeping in my car.

I think they were doing some renovation when i went, but i think they are in the process of making it better.

Didnt appreciate the cockroaches. I dont blame them, it looked like they were doing renovations, so maybe that had something to do with it. I just wanted to use this place as a place to prepare for my presentation. The biggest hindrance to that was the thin walls. I could hear my neighbour and i'm sure i kept my neighbor up all night as i prepared for my presentation talk. Im sure he didnt appreciate it.

However, Stuart and Ti were very nice and polite. So i think there is potential here. I would live to see what happens of this place in the future.

The house was in the right location and at the right price for me. It’s walking distance from a MARTA bus stop; a 20-minute ride to/from the downtown station. The host isn’t local, but he communicated clearly & promptly. There’s an on-site house manager, which kinda gives it a Euro hostel vibe. I’m 5’6”, so I didn’t mind the low ceiling, but it might be uncomfortable for 6’ or taller.

the house is tucked back, but once i found it, i appreciated the quiet neighborhood and shaded lot. the ceilings upstairs were short and the floors and countertops were a bit dirty, but overall it was a peaceful, good value place to crash while i was in town on work.
