A lovely host, Mia greeted us when we arrived and promptly brought us an additional blanket since temperatures were in the cool side (especially coming from Texas heat). The coffee I made with the French press and grounds she provided was wonderful.

There was a problem where the water heater failed on the next to last day of our 6 nights, so we were unable to take showers the last two mornings.

It’s basically one large room and a bathroom with a sliding door, so it’s not good if someone wants to get up earlier than the other person since there’s no place else to hang out.

The only reason for 4/5 stars was the water heater not working and big spiders. But Mia was very responsive to get the issue fixed

Mia’s place is a beautiful retreat. So close to restaurants groceries and a fabulous bookstore. The glass art and garden and the care put into the cottage made me feel so comfortable and happy

Mia's place was a quiet haven to spend the night and enjoy tea on the back patio in the morning. Her art adds a lot of unique beauty to the space.
