I had an amazing time during my one on one cooking class. I enjoyed every bite I took! I recommend this for solo travelers and groups!

I went to The Road Less Traveled Cuisine Cooking Class with Josue last week with my daughter and daughter-in-law, and it was such a wonderful experience that I brought my older daughter this week while she’s visiting. The food was fantastic. It is truly the best we have had on our vacation. And we brought home enough for our entire family to have for dinner. (4 adults and 3 kids who all like to eat.)

Josue is incredibly friendly and helpful. He provided clear, patient instruction that really taught us techniques to master Costa Rican cooking styles. He answered all our questions, shared great local tips, and made everyone feel welcome and at ease.

This time we were joined by a lovely young couple, and Josue expertly involved all of us in preparing each dish so that by the end, we all felt like old friends. It was warm, fun, and hands-on the whole way through.

This class is well worth your time while visiting Costa Rica. I can’t wait to go home and try my hand at these dishes.

Absolutely Outstanding Cooking Class – A Must-Do in Guanacaste!

Our cooking class with Chef Josue was one of the highlights of our time so far in Costa Rica! Every part of the experience was exceptional, from the warm welcome to the final bite. We learned how to make delicious Costa Rican classics like tortillas, empanadas, guacamole, pico de gallo, perfectly seasoned chicken, rice, and beans. The fresh fruit drinks were incredible and everything was made with the highest quality ingredients.

Chef Josue is not only a talented chef but also a fantastic teacher. He explained techniques clearly and made the class fun and interactive. We left with new skills, full stomachs, and enough leftover food to last two more days, and yes, it was just as delicious the next day!

We’ve already booked another class for next week. Don’t miss this unforgettable culinary experience, it’s a true taste of Costa Rica and an absolute gem in Guanacaste!

Good class, expected more from the experience. Our chef host was okay, she rushed us during our lunch at the end, offered us drink, my husband asked for a cocktail they said only wine included. Never mentioned it is a separate price. Then we were finished, we were walking to our car on the street she caught us and told me to take a bottle of wine with me and pay 60$ for it, I checked on the website that wine costs 25$ on the website. That was very unfortunate and unprofessional from chef side not to tell us that wine is not included and charge more than a double.
