Ill start off with the good by saying the location is great it's close to EVERYTHING Which was good ! Now let's talk about to actual unit the building is run down and old The unit is horrible not a comfortable stay! In need Of some major repairs !!! Shower was horrible The worst showers I ever had to take in my life the unit was dirty like it hasn't been properly cleaned YEARS and had roaches I seem so many I was disgusted no silverware or anything to cook with the beds are all like futons and hard as heck no lighting the ceiling fans in the rooms don't work the heater doesn't work properly and the list goes on not a comfortable stay at all

The stay was great. Nothing to complain about except the dryer doesn't dry all the way.

Great place to stay very quiet and peaceful

When a friend and I booked this place, I understood by it's description that it was older and not to expect anything fancy. With that, I expected the bare minimum, a clean kitchen with minimal dishes, two clean beds and functioning water. From the first day we checked in, there was nothing but scalding hot water, absolutely no cold water. We were informed that people would be fixing it, but to please be patient as it would take a while. I was a bit surprised because a previous review had spoken of this problem 5 months earlier and it was still happening. Meanwhile, I spent the first night cleaning out the cupboard of food particles (even an open old bag of cookies!), cleaning the fridge (I didn't touch the freezer which had old meat juice frozen to the bottom of it) and trying to find the advertised Keurig (it was in the back closet, covered in dust and pet hair). We both discovered pet hair on our pajamas after sleeping in our "clean" sheets. On day 5, we were offered the option to leave with a refund for the days not spent there. Being from out of state, jobless, and trying to stay safe in the middle of a pandemic, it was not easy to just pick up and leave. When we left 9 days later, I asked Carl if he might provide us with a further discount for the days we stayed but did not have access to cold water (it was finally repaired on May 14). He declined. In order for this place to be livable, it needs an overhaul. All cupboards, fridge, and freezer should be deep cleaned, dishes need to be gone through and supplemented as needed (tons of pots and pans, but only 1 bowl and 1 small plastic drinking cup), and because it is pet friendly, special attention given to sheets, furniture and closet. Until then, it should not be rented out.
