The Peaceful Home is truly peaceful and very private with a lot of surrounding greenery. The house had everything I needed and is close to both city center and campus. Rebecca is wonderful, very responsive and if anything was wrong, she was very quick to have it fixed. My check-in was seamless and Rebecca worked around my flight arrival. I stayed here for an extensive period of time and felt very welcome. Rebecca and Ron are great hosts that are always happy to help and the house felt like a home. I really enjoyed staying here.

WOULD NOT recommend. I should have walked away. The initial sight of the mold and cobwebs on the outside, should have been enough to tell me what to expect. Then we walked through the door to a wall of smoke odor. Rebecca insisted that no one smoked inside, but I had several people with me who all agreed. I used candles and scent spray while I was there to fight the odor. It helped a little, but when smoke is in the furniture and carpet, it is very difficult to eliminate. The home is very old and has issues, as I found out. Things don't work, or work part-time, i.e. lights, ceiling fan. Rebecca gave me phone numbers in case I needed anything. Someone ran over the mailbox one night, other than letting them know about that, I didn't have anything that was dire enough to bother them about. If they cleaned the outside and updated the inside, this could be a cute place.
