Sehr nettes cottage in ruhiger Lage. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt. Küche ist super ausgestattet mit Gewürzen, Nudeln und Soße für eine Mahlzeit. Auch Brot, Milch und Butter war extra hinterlegt. für Kinder waren Spiele, Bücher, Teller und Besteck vorhanden. toller Blick auf den See und die Schafe.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour sur l'île de Skye ! Le logement est très confortable et calme, entouré de moutons et offrant une vue imprenable sur la mer. Le cottage est très bien équipé et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. La promenade en bateau sur le lac a été une parenthèse paisible en pleine nature. Enfin, un grand merci à Karen pour ses recommandations de restaurants et sa gentillesse.

We have stayed in several homes throughout Canada and Scotland and this has been our favourite. We immediately felt at home. The cottage was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and Karen left us essentials like bread, butter milk and farm fresh eggs.

We enjoyed the use of the log burner in the evenings. There are sheep everywhere including right outside the cottage gate, which we loved as this is something we don't see where we are from.

The cottage was in a good location for exploring Skye. The roads to the cottage are in good shape and easy to navigate. Heed Karen's warning about the potholes on the last stretch of road to the cottage and take it very slow. Those are not potholes, they are craters to the centre of the earth!

Enjoy this place, it is a little slice of heaven and Karen is the best host.

Side note: Mackenzie's bakery in Portree is not to be missed. Our favourite throughout our trip.

We loved our stay here and wished it could be longer. The cottage was located on a beautiful, peaceful peninsula with incredible views. There’s a gorgeous waterfall just a 5 minute walk through the field from the cottage, which then leads directly to the sea shore.

The cottage itself was comfortable and well stocked with all the comforts you could need. The host, Karen, is kind and communicative. It’s an easy drive to various restaurants, hikes and other attractions. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
