Il y a 2 semainesVery tastefully decorated and charming old farmhouse with plenty of space for two guests. Two nice horses on the property and a pond that (for me at least) yielded decent bluegill fishing and several small bass. Might have been better in warmer times/water temps. Very solid recommendations for places to go, and a private, peaceful place in the country!

mars 2025If you love a true old farmhouse, a down-home, comfortable kick your shoes off and enjoy the atmosphere of by-gone days, this is the place for you! The house has a large cushiony couch, spacious chair, good-sized TV, big kitchen space with kerig coffeemaker and a regular coffeemaker, comfortable queen-size bed, and full size bathroom. The floors are a little wonky which just speaks to the history of the house and if the walls could talk no telling what they might say of the lives, love and laughter of yester-years. What a quaint little farmhouse! The views are of rolling hills, both of pastures and woods. The Tunnel Hill Trail was located very near by. There’s a very large Dollar General Store close by as well. Connie reached out several times and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a back porch and a front porch both with places to sit and while-away the hours. We LOVED this place!
