Catherine was the perfect host. Although her English abilities were on par with my French she used a Google translator to great effect to communicate clearly with us.

Our arrival was on a Sunday evening when many restaurants were closed and those few open crowded. Catherine made a call to a local restaurant to secure reservations for us. The meal there was excellent.

The apartment and courtyard in front were lovely. We would recommend Catherine’s place highly!

Catherine is a thoughtful and kind host. We were able to drop our luggage off earlier than check-in. She made lunch reservations for us at an excellent French restaurant near her apartment that was delicious. She answered all our questions throughout our stay. The apartment was clean and neat with lots of books about the Bourgogne Region, city of Beaune, and more. We used both the bed and the fold down bench-bed and both were comfortable. We highly recommend staying in Catherine’s apartment if you are visiting Beaune.

Great location, a few minutes walk from the centre of Beaune, the train station and the bike rental shop. There is a selection of wine bars and restaurants on a square round the corner, but the apartment itself is very quiet. The property was charming and spotless, and had everything we needed. It also has a lovely garden which guests are free to use. Catherine is an incredibly warm and generous host. Arrival and check-in was handled flawlessly. She checked that the temperature in the property was to our liking and that we had everything we needed. She provided excellent recommendations for things to see and places to eat. She was always there for any queries and couldn't do enough for us. On one evening, having said that we wanted to eat in the garden rather than go out for a meal, she appeared with glasses of wine and some snacks by way of aperitif! We felt incredibly well looked after throughout our week's stay, and would very happily stay at Catherine's place again.
