Flagstaff Landing is a historic converted barn full of rustic charm located 10 miles from Sugarloaf and surrounded by trails and outdoor activities. Description tells you that there is an active restaurant downstairs and the rooms upstairs might be noisy as a result, but if you read the reviews you'll find out that the restaurant is in fact closed. We were the only guests there. Except for some road noise and the lovely sound of the loons, it was quiet. The space behind the building is grassy and you can walk right down to Flagstaff Lake.

On approach from the road, the place looks abandoned. There's a for sale sign out front. But it is clean and comfy inside.

We enjoyed breakfast at the Loony Moose and then took a pontoon boat tour which was delightful.
