Ideal spot for fishing, kitesurfing/surfing, marshland nature walks and beach enjoyment! Named after kitesurfing "downwinder," this home welcomes water sportsmen and poolside readers alike. The neighborhood is a quiet mix of rentals and full-time residents with beach, pool, and tennis court just steps away. Constructed in 2022, the home was built intentionally with guests in mind. Our goal is to maintain a space that's immaculately clean, clutter-free, and comfortable for a carefree getaway.

Our house is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. All the interior furnishings are new or like new. The parking area under the house is fully concreted, and set up for fun. There's a brand new hot tub, cornhole boards, gathering area, outdoor shower and even a bar! Feel like going to the beach? The beach access is a 2 minute walk from the house, and everything you need for fun is provided. We've got chairs, boogie boards, sand buckets, sun shade and a cart to haul it with.

This newly remodeled room is located in the Historic Salvo Motel. During your stay you will have access to your own private room located a quarter mile walk from the beach. You are also a short walk from the Blue Whale Grocery , Fishing Hole Tackle Shop and Alex's Shrimp Shack (great steamed shrimp!). Additionally you are only a 1.5 mile drive/bike ride from the Salvo Day Use Area which is an ideal spot for kayakers, kiteboarders, windsurfers, and stand-up paddle boarders to launch from.

Nestled along the pristine Cape Hatteras National Seashore, this island retreat has luxurious touches that can be hard to find in the Outer Banks. The Blue Moon has so much to enjoy, including expansive views of the ocean from the top level, decks, pool, hot tub & more! The house sits close enough to the ocean to see the waves, and sometimes see dolphins jump & play while having your morning coffee.

Summer is winding down, ocean temperatures are mild, and the best season on the Outer Banks is fast approaching. Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is made in Portugal.

Perfect house for water sport enthusiasts, surfers, windsurfers, fishermen,kite surfers or that wants to unwind and relax at the beach!!! It is a short walk to the beach and sound for sunset!!!! It is also within walking distance to Real Watersports and Watemans Grill, Board Wok Restaurant, Waves Market&Deli and Dollar General
